Simple Business Website was launched with only one aim in mind, to provide high quality websites for small to medium sized businesses, without the usual high web-agency prices!
All our websites (including our own at www.simplebusinesswebsite.co.uk) are built using a system called WordPress. If you are unfamiliar with the name, WordPress is one of the most commonly used platforms to build websites, from simple brochure sites through to large and complex e-commerce websites and is used by businesses from all sizes, from start-ups through to international, global corporations.
The main advantage of WordPress is that it provides an excellent content management system (frequently shortened to CMS), whereby the owner (or set users) of the website can log in and make changes to the site themselves, without the need to constantly refer alterations to the web agency, who would normally charge for making changes.
The content management system (CMS) is very user friendly and even those with very little technical training soon get the hang of adding or modifying pages, blogs, images etc. There is also a wealth of training documents and videos online to help.
We offer several options that a customer can choose from – we can provide you with a template site, which we customize with your images, text, logos etc. and you can change many design features too, so your site will still look unique. Or we have a more bespoke service, where we can build the site from scratch to your exact requirements.
Our prices start from just £325 for a brochure website of up to 10 pages, or £545 for a full e-commerce site and we aim to have your site live on the web in around 2 weeks. These are fully functional, live websites that you will be able to add/delete/modify pages, images, blogs etc. yourself, thus growing and expanding your website. Our price also includes web hosting and emails on our fast, secure server if required.
All our websites are built using Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) ‘best practice’ techniques and will be submitted to the search engines for you on completion. We can also provide full SEO services through our partner Altius Online Marketing, who are a specialist SEO agency. Both companies can be found on the top floor of Prospect House in Prospect Business Park.
